Two Way Baby Monitor Child Safety

One Way or Two Way Baby Monitors and Their Role in the Safety of Your Child

In the fast paced world we live in today, many obstacles arise when juggling family life and work, especially with a new baby in the house. Often parents find it difficult to balance everything they need to do while watching the baby. We simply can't be in two places at the same time . This is one of the major dilemmas of parents who still want to be productive while making sure their child is safe. This is where baby monitors come to the rescue! They allow parents to monitor the baby while they are not in the room or are working elsewhere in the house.

What Is a Baby Monitor and How Does It Work?
A baby monitor is a device that has a transmitter and receiver, which sends either sound or video so that the parent can supervise the activities of the baby while he or she is away.

Different Types
There are different types of monitors broadly: audio, video, sensor, one way or two way monitors. The audio baby monitor receives and sends sound so that the parent can hear the baby from a distance. The video monitor work like a tiny TV by having a camera show the baby’s movements on a small screen receiver. The sensor monitor is a movement detector that alarms the parent when it cannot perceive any movement from the child for more than 20+ seconds. One way monitors send sounds from the baby to the parent while a two way baby monitor does that AND sends sounds back from the parent to the baby.

How Does It Play A Role In the Safety of the Child?

Baby monitors allow the parents to watch over their child from afar even if the baby is asleep. They can get on with all their other work and activities, reassured that their baby is safe. These hi-tech monitors provide instant feedback for parents and instantly alert them when there are problems detected. Even the simplest monitors like the audio monitor keeps the parents aware if their baby needs them e.g. when the child cries. The latest versions of sensor monitors send alarms whenever they cannot detect movement from the baby for 20 seconds or more. With this technology, parents are given a way to make sure that their baby is safe especially during times when no one is in the room directly watching the child.

Nowadays, it is really difficult for any parent to be able to be by their child’s side 24/7. However technology has managed to make life easier by giving busy moms and dads the option keep an eye on their precious little one even when they aren’t in the room.

And no matter how busy life may get, it is at least reassuring to a lot of families that their monitor truly contributes to their peace of mind as they provide for their child’s safety.
